The company
Our company was founded in 1967 as Officina Meccanica Borgialli Aldo, and in the following years began producing components for the biomedical sector (from 1979).
In 1996, it changed its name to MICROMEC di Borgialli Roberto, continuing to grow and expand its scope of business. In 1997, it entered the food packaging sector and obtained ISO 9001 certification, the first step in an increasingly structured qualification process.
In 2004, the company began producing components for the aeronautical sector as a subcontractor, initiating significant investments in technology, control systems, and certifications.
In the following years, the growth path led to the achievement of the CE 93/42 medical marking (MDD) for Class IIa and IIb devices (2011), and the ISO 14001:2004 (environment) and BS OHSAS 18001 (safety) certifications in 2016, later updated in 2020 to ISO 45001:2018.
In 2024, a self-assessment of the sustainability rating was conducted, with a score of 29 out of 52, confirming the company’s commitment to responsible and environmentally conscious growth.
Finally, in January 2025, the company achieved a further milestone with the EN 9100:2018 certification, dedicated to the aerospace sector.
Micromec designs, engineers and produces on its own behalf and on behalf of third parties tailor-made products addressed to dental and dental technicians, expanding more and more sales and improving the quality of products every day thanks to many years of experience, from latest generation measuring instruments, by specialized operators and a qualified technical team.
The quality of the products is guaranteed by the processes of adjustment, polishing, washing (and decontamination for the medical sector) and packaging which are carried out internally by hand to guarantee the best results.
